Японский производитель также объявил о своем вхождении во вновь образованный Альянс UHD (Ultra High Definition) - организацию, объединяющую производителей видеотехники, киностудии и распространителей контента, которые намерены совместно популяризировать новые стандарты для следующего поколения видео технологий, включащих разрешение 4K (и выше), расширенную цветовую гамму, расширенный динамический диапазон - High Dynamic Range (HDR) и новые системы <a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/articles/15542-koe-chto-iz-togo-chto-nuzhno-znat-o-formatah-obemnogo-zvuchaniya.html" >3D звука</a>.<br /><br /><br />С появлением 4K телевизоров видеофилы всего мира остро нуждаются в источниках видео повышенного разрешения, которое может обеспечить оптический диск следующего поколения Blu-Ray. Хотя Netflix 4K и аналогичные потоковые сервисы частично удовлетворят потребности, в конце концов, все ограничено пропускной способностью каналов связи и необходимостью сжатия. Все эти проблемы позволит преодолеть UHD Blu-ray.<br /><br />Ассоциация Blu-Ray Disc (BDA) в замедленном темпе ведет стандартизацию нового поколения технологии. На IFA 2014 представитель этой организации заявил, что основные требования для нового оборудования будут согласованы к лету 2015 года, а реальная видеотехника может появиться в конце года. <br /><br />Но с 4K BD плеером Panasonic, возможно энтузиастам 4К видео не придется ждать так долго. Подробной информации о прототипе 4К Blu-ray плеера  Panasonic немного, но мы знаем, что будет обеспечена поддержка HDR (High Dynamic Range). Хотя еще и надо поискать телеэкраны на которых все это можно будет воспроизводить, включая частоту 120 кадров в секунду (HFR) и цветовую палитру Rec.2020.
