А недавно к ним присоединился и представитель компании, считающей себя лидером в развитии технологии и производстве OLED телевизоров.<br /><br />Вице-президент Samsung Visual Display Business г-н Ким недавно заявил, что доступных OLED телевизоров не будет еще года три-четыре. «Samsung изначально предсказывал в 2013 году, что цены на OLED будут снижаться в течение двух или трех лет, но кажется, производственные препятствия оказались гораздо большими, чем ожидалось».<br /><br />То, что Киму стало ясно сегодня, еще в прошлом году <a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/news/industry/13862-auo-ne-delaet-stavku-na-tehnologiyu-oled.html" >предсказывал президент компании AUO Paul Peng</a>, который заявил тогда, «пройдет еще много лет, прежде чем OLED технология созреет до такой степени, чтобы стать реальным конкурентом для ЖК дисплеев. И не исключено, что в конечном счете OLED дисплеи так и не получат массового распространения, подобно дисплеям SED» (Surface-conduction electron Emission Display), по-русски, люминесцентные дисплеи с холодной эмиссией.<br /><br />Очевидно, подобной точки зрения придерживаются и Sony с Panasonic, которые разработали первые OLED телевизоры. А Sony даже начала было их и выпускать. Сегодня обе японские компании работают над новым поколением OLED технологии, которая смогла бы обеспечить рентабельное производство OLED панелей.
