Если верить Financial Times, после сенсационного <a href="http://www.hdtv.ru/2008/01/05/kinostudija_warner_bros._otkazyvaetsja_ot_formata_hd_dvd_v_polzu_bluray.html" >заявления</a> Warner Bros. о переходе в лагерь Blu-ray, крупнейшая кинокомпания Paramount Pictures также стала рассматривать возможность отказа от HD DVD в пользу «голубого» формата. По данным источников, ознакомленных с ситуацией, в контракте Paramount с лагерем HD DVD имеется пункт, позволяющий ей менять позицию в случае перехода Warner к эксклюзивной поддержке Blu-ray. Если слухи оправдаются, уже безо всяких предостережений можно будет говорить о полном триумфе лагеря Blu-ray.<br /><br />Напомним, Paramount Pictures заявила о поддержке HD DVD в августе прошлого года совместно со своим давним партнёром DreamWorks Animation. Учитывая тесное сотрудничество этих компаний, а также то, что они вместе объявили о поддержке HD DVD, можно предположить, что в случае перехода Paramount к лагерю Blu-ray DreamWorks Animation также последует её примеру. Впрочем, чего гадать, пока что всю имеющуюся информацию стоит воспринимать всего лишь как сенсационные слухи.
