Именно с таким заявлением официально выступил Куниаки Нозое (Kuniaki Nozoe), президент Fujitsu.<br /><br />Г-н Куниаки Нозое не отрицает сам факт проведения достаточно сложных переговоров с Western Digital, однако по его словам "в настоящий момент у сделки нулевые шансы". Представители Western Digital, в свою очередь, комментируют шумиху вокруг потенциальной сделки как "слухи", а "слухи Western Digital не комментирует".<br /><br />Напомним нашим читателям, что агентство Reuters сообщило о самом факте переговоров между двумя компаниями ещё в октябре. Основная причина, по которой, похоже, Fujitsu не прочь избавиться он "винчестерного" подразделения заключается в его убыточности.<br /><br />Однако у Fujitsu, по некоторым сведениям, есть достаточно жёсткие условия продажи. В частности, планируя продать одним "пакетом" все японские и зарубежные фабрики по производству жёстких диском, компания настаивает на сохранении рабочих мест своих работников. По мнению аналитиков, именно это условие перечеркнуло все перспективы дальнейшего ведения переговоров между двумя компаниями.<br /><br />По мнению аналитиков Nikkei, Fujitsu, обеспечивающая нынче порядка 20% мировых продаж винчестеров для серверов и ноутбуков (от выпуска HDD для настольных ПК компания отказалась ещё в 2001 году), не против получить за свой бизнес по выпуску жёстких дисков порядка &#165;50 млрд (что-то вроде $550 млн) или даже более.
