Разработано специальное прикладное программное обеспечение (ПО) "Sonos Controller for iPhone", которое превращает iPhone или iPod touch в полноценный Sonos Controller (единственное условие – в вашей системе Sonos должна быть свежая версия ПО 2.7).

После скачивания ПО с сайта App Store (бесплатного) и установки в iPhone или iPod touch, вы получаете возможность управления всей домашней аудио системой Sonos по сети WiFi.

В распоряжении владельца привычный экран iPhone или iPod touch, на котором появляются меню, знакомые по опыту общения с контроллером Sonos Controller.

В результате iPhone или iPod touch также дает вам в руки полное управление устройствами Sonos ZonePlayers и всей цифровой музыкой в сети SonosNet. С помощью беспроводной защищенной сети SonosNet, вы можете моментально получить доступ к любому музыкальному файлу, хранящемуся в вашей домашней библиотеке, а также к миру Интернет – интернет радио, многочисленным онлайновым аудио сервисам и даже к песням с ваших любимых CD или MP3-плееров, причем отовсюду и повсюду. Если вы на первом этаже вашего особняка, отключите музыку на втором. Смените мелодию для кухни прямо из спальни. Все в ваших руках.

Точно так же как на Sonos Controller вы сможете проглядывать обложки альбомов, просматривать плей-листы, получать подробную информацию о каждом треке и многое другое. Для начала выберите комнату, песню и нажмите на кнопку "play".
