Тем не менее, аппаратная база для LTE создается уже сегодня, и что самое отрадное – уже появляются «гибридные» интегральные микросхемы, поддерживающие как стандарт WiMAX, так и грядущий LTE. Первые серьезные шаги в направлении популяризации новой технологии будут сделаны уже в следующем году, когда производители начнут массовый выпуск двухрежимных адаптеров беспроводной связи, сообщает аналитическое агентство ABI Research.<br /><br />Уже сейчас ряд операторов мобильной связи проявляет интерес к стандарту LTE и микросхемам беспроводной передачи данных, поддерживающих как WiMAX, так и LTE. В числе компаний, заинтересованных в появлении указанных решений значатся: Vodafone, телекоммуникационная компания KDDI, UQ Communication и пр. Да и на российских просторах новая технология окажется востребованной, и что самое главное, доступной для рядовых пользователей.<br /><br />Что касается спектра устройств, поддерживающих обе технологии, то указанной функциональностью обзаведутся: USB-модемы, мобильные компьютеры, нетбуки, и даже интернет-планшеты. То есть, ни один тип портативной электроники не останется в стороне от новых «коммуникационных веяний», причем первое время и WiMAX, и LTE будут сосуществовать на рынке в качестве конкурирующих технологий.
