По данным, полученным специалистами международной компании iSuppli, и учитывая темпы роста продаж LCD телевизоров в России, ЭЛТ телевизоры исчезнут с полок наших магазинов лишь через 4-5 лет. В 2010 году в РФ будет продано 5,9 миллионов LCD телевизоров, что на 18% больше чем в прошлом году. Второе место по объему продаж по-прежнему за традиционными ЭЛТ телевизорами. Достаточно незначительна в общем объеме продаж доля плазменных моделей и особенно проекторов, перспективы которых в России исследователям из iSuppli представляются туманными.

Вместе с тем, к 2015 году прогнозируется увеличение до 21% доли плазменных телевизоров в общем объеме годовых продаж. Несмотря на популярность LCD моделей, более современные, тонкие и дорогие телевизоры с LED подсветкой пользуются меньшим спросом, и лишь к 2014 году каждый второй продаваемый LCD HDTV будет иметь LED подсветку. Наиболее популярны сегодня 32 дюймовые телевизоры – 43% LCD продаж, а к 2014 году россияне будут предпочитать диагональ в 40 дюймов и более.

Средняя стоимость телеприемника составила для россиянина в 2010 году $726, что на 7% дороже, чем в прошлом году. Чтобы купить телевизор, среднестатический покупатель в России должен при зарплате в $536 поработать хотя бы два месяца. Наиболее популярными марками телевизоров у россиян считаются Samsung, Toshiba, LG, Sony и Philips.

О массовой популярности 3D телевизоров в России говорить пока не приходится, их доля продаж составила 2%. Но предполагается, что к 2014 году почти каждый третий проданный LCD телевизор будет иметь режим 3D.
