Весь этот комплекс требований серьезно затрудняет изготовление  больших OLED панелей. Нанесение жидких органических материалов методом струйной печати упрощает весь процесс, повышает процент выхода годных OLED панелей, а значит, в конечном итоге, снижает стоимость.<br /><br />Справедливости ради необходимо сказать, что Samsung не является пионером в данной технологии. Еще в прошлом году всем известная по производству струйных принтеров компания Epson представила первый дисплей выполненный методом струйной печати. Это была 14-ти дюймовая OLED панель с разрешением 60 точек на дюйм, яркостью 100 кд/м2 и 6-ти битным цветом.<br /><br />Samsung на FPD 2010 демонстрирует 19-ти дюймовый OLED телевизор, разрешение которого составляет четверть от Full HD (960 x 540) или 58 точек на дюйм. Яркость достигает 200 кд/м2, а 8-ми битное кодирование цвета обеспечивает 16,77 млн.  оттенков.<br />
