Sensio и MediaTec создают 3DTV нового поколения


Канадская компания Sensio уже давно разрабатывает и успешно внедряет собственную 3D технологию самого высокого кинотеатрального уровня воспроизведения. Недавно Sensio и известный тайваньский разработчик полупроводниковых элементов компания MediaTek заключили соглашение об интеграции 3D технологии Sensio в единый полупроводниковый чип.

Элементами технологии Sensio3D являются лучшие на сегодняшний день системы компрессии и декомпрессии 3D сигнала (за счет чего он может передаваться по обычным телеканалам). На основе 3D технологии Sensio уже производятся телевизоры Hyundai и проекторы JVC. Если говорить кратко, Sensio собирается внедрять кинотеатральную технологию Real3D в домашние видеосистемы.

Известно, что новый высокоинтегрированный чип для HDTV будет иметь несколько входов для подключения 3D источников, включая HDMI 1.4, а также Ethernet для соединения с интернет и порт USB.
