Новая звуковая система Philips использует так называемую технологию Ambisound, позволяющую одним излучателем и сабвуфером имитировать объемную панораму формата 5.1, за счет проецирования звука через различные каналы саундбара.<br /><br />Другая особенность Philips HTS7140 – встроенный 3D Blu-ray плеер, что автоматически добавляет новинке Philips функции качественного музыкального центра в компактном исполнении, а при просмотре фильмов в обычном и 3D формате не требуется дополнительный кабель для соединения с телевизором. <br /><br />Габаритные размеры Philips HTS7140 наиболее подходят для комплектования телевизоров с диагональю экрана 40 дюймов и более.  Philips HTS7140 поддерживает такие HD аудиоформаты как Dolby TrueHD и DTS-HD Master. Philips HTS7140 демонстрировался на IFA 2010 в Берлине и уже вскоре появится на полках европейских магазинов по цене 1150 евро.<br />
