«OLED технология будет доминировать к 2015 году в следующем поколении телевизоров», – заявил Санг-Су Ким, исполнительный вице-президент Samsung Mobile Display.<br /><br />Минимальное время отклика и отсутствие проблем с послесвечением представляют OLED панели как идеальный экран для 3D технологии с последовательным чередованием кадров.<br /><br />В производстве OLED телевизоров Samsung планирует задействовать восьмое поколение технологических линий по изготовлению телевизионных панелей. Хотя точная дата пуска такого завода не заявляется, но сделать это компания собирается в ближайшие годы. Правда есть еще целый ряд технических и технологических проблем, которые необходимо предварительно решить.<br /><br />Обращает на себя внимание тот факт, что заниматься большими OLED экранами собирается в первую очередь  Samsung Mobile Display, а не Samsung Electronics - нынешний производитель телевизоров.<br />
