В подкрепление прогнозов указывается на уверенное освоение производителями широкого диапазона моделей от  40 до 63 дюймов. Вторая волна интереса и увеличения продаж должна, по мнению одного из руководителей DisplaySearch, последовать после Берлинской выставки IFA 2010 в сентябре.<br /><br />Если взглянуть на диаграмму роста предполагаемых продаж, то безусловными лидерами останутся LCD модели телевизоров, на втором месте, конечно же, плазменные. Странная и неоднозначная ситуация с проекционными системами. Если в нынешнем году видна чуть заметная желтая полоска, соответствующая этим системам. То в последующие годы ее почему то нет вовсе. Можно предположить, что долгосрочный анализ популярности проекционных систем пока недоступен для исследователей компании.<br /><br />Наряду с оптимистичными прогнозами, отмечается и наличие явного дефицита 3D контента и телепрограмм.  <br />
