Это первые массово производимые микросхемы для систем кадровой развертки  3D телевизоров, что позволит несколько снизить их стоимость.  Кроме функции обновления экранного изображения новые чипы IDT поддерживают технологию повышения динамического разрешения - IDT HQV MotionSMART с частотой 120 и 240 герц.<br /><br />HQV MotionSMART выполняет попиксельный контроль выводимой на экран катинки, имеет возможность интеллектуальной обработки и коррекции сложных видеосигналов. Технология IDT позволяет определять тип кадрового формата  фильмов, устраняя возможные при преобразовании в телеформат мерцания и дрожание. <br /><br />Кадровые видеопроцессоры IDT VHD1200 и VHD 2400 позволяют добиться устойчивого изображения в сюжетах с быстрым перемещением съемочной камеры и более детальной картинки для мелких движущихся объектов.<br />Новые чипы IDT производятся в 479-ти выводном корпусе типа BGA, по оптовой цене $25 за 1000 штук VHD1200 и $35 за 1000 штук VHD2400.<br />
