В этих телевизорах использован традиционный принцип тыловой LED подсветки жидкокристаллической матрицы, но с использованием новой технологии.<br /><br />Повысить качество изображения призвана технология LED подсветки – Quattron, которая добавляет желтого цвета в традиционную RGB палитру и тем самым обеспечивает более точное отображение желтых и голубых тонов. <br /><br />Серии телевизоров LE920, LE820 и LE810 будут производиться с диагоналями экранов от 40 до 68 дюймов и должны появиться в продаже в мае. Кроме доработанной технологии подсветки в новых телевизорах будет использована усовершенствованная технология AQUOS Net для связи с медиа-сервисами в интернет. А также AQUOS Advantage Live – техническая поддержка в режиме реального времени. Новые телевизоры удовлетворяют последней версии стандарта  ENERGY STAR. <br />
