По новому соглашению Samsung сможет встраивать в свои новые 3D телевизоры конверсионную технологию DDD.<br /><br />Samsung будет использовать эту технологию в некоторых моделях 3D телевизоров. По новому соглашению уменьшаются отчисления в пользу DDD с каждого проданного телевизора, оснащенного технологией конвертирования 2D в 3D.  Объем отчислений в 2010 году в пользу DDD ожидается в пределах 1,1-1,5 млн. долларов США.
