Однако, на горизонте уже оказывается появился формат ультра HD. <br /><br />По крайней мере, так следует понимать исследования, опубликованные компанией In-Stat. Однако, реальная замена еще не развитой 3D инфраструктуры развлечений если и произойдет, то не так скоро. Как следует из опубликованных заявлений представителей In-Stat, в 2010 году нас ждет начало экспансии 3D аппаратуры. А к 2014 продажи 3D Blu-ray плееров и телевизоров достигнут уровня 41 млн. штук в год<br /><br />Параллельно начнет внедряться и формат UHDTV  или Super Hi-Vision. Первое телевещание в супер разрешении может начаться в 2017 году. А к 2020 году количество владельцев UHD телевизоров может достигнуть 5%.
