Новинки получили индекс: DMR-BW880-K (со встроенным жёстким диском в 1 Тб), DMR-DW780-K (со встроенным жёстким диском в 750 Гб), DMR-BW680-K и DMR-BR580-K (со встроенным жёстким диском в 500 Гб).<br /><br />Согласно опубликованной информации, все три новинки оснащены новым фирменным процессором кодирования и декодирования видеосигнала Panasonic Advanced AVC Engine, основанном на UniPhier LSI. Как водится, ему приписываются всяческие улучшения в итоговом качестве видеосигнала. Помимо сохранения информации на встроенном жёстком диске, все три рекордера способны записывать видео на 50-гигабайтные болванки BD-R, а также на карты памяти типа SDXC. Из особенностей воспроизведения стоит отметить поддержку режимов видео высокой чёткости вплоть до 1080p/60 Гц и и так называемого "кинотеатрального" режима 24p.<br />
