Компания Optoma анонсировала на днях свой первый видеопроектор с поддержкой 3D – EX762. Согласно спецификации, устройство использует DLP-матрицу DC3 DMD и оснащено 10-битным видеопроцессором DDP2431 производства Texas Instruments.

Помимо поддержки 3В известно, что световой поток новинки составит 4000 ANSI-люмен, а характеристика отношения контраста будет равна 3000:1. Рекомендованная цена нового проектора Optoma на корейском рынке составляет 1.9 миллиона вон, что эквивалентно 1700 американским долларам.

Единственное, что удивляет, так это физическое разрешение матрицы новинки – всего 1024х768 точек. С учётом того факта, что технология 3D будет применяться с носителями Blu-ray, столь низкое разрешение, помноженное на размерность матрицы 4:3, кажется сегодня каким-то анахронизмом. Посему, можно лишь гадать о истинном позиционировании данного видеопроектора.
