Очевидно, Sony, сама ведущая подобные исследования, хочет быть уверенной, что сможет предложить потребителям в 2010 году самые лучшие 3D устройства и технологии.<br /><br />По условиям достигнутого соглашения Sony лицензирует фирменную разработку RealD – стереоскопический формат RealD Cinema, а также технологию, относящуюся к производству активных и пассивных 3D очков. Кроме того, Sony и RealD собираются совместно работать над реализацией поддержки последней технологии в существующих и будущих продуктах японского производителя.<br /><br />По словам представителей Sony, корпорация собирается объединить собственные наработки по воспроизведению 3D изображения в Full HD разрешении на экранах новых телевизоров BRAVIA с 3D очками, созданными по технологии RealD.  <br />При этом японский производитель пока не называет сроков осуществления своего замысла, хотя телевизоры и другая потребительская электроника Sony с поддержкой технологий 3D и 3D Blu-ray должна появиться уже в январе на выставке CES 2010.
