Точнее, заставляет задуматься о тенденциях, которые могут скоро догнать не только DVD, но и любимый многими Blu-ray…<br /><br />Итак, сегодня стало известно, что известный производитель аудио и видеотехники класса High End (причём, самого, что ни на есть «дремучего» и «смурного» High End) – Linn – объявил о прекращении выпуска проигрывателей компакт-дисков. Основная причина – катастрофическое падение популярности этого типа носителей для музыки и переориентации меломанов с бытовых проигрывателей на персональные компьютеры и портативные плееры, типа iPod.<br /><br />По мнению основателя компании Айвора Тэйфенбрана, эра музыкальных компакт дисков подходит к концу. Люди предпочитают качать музыку из сети Интернет и слушать её везде, быть мобильными. Этим и обусловлен успех iPod и ему подобных проигрывателей, за которыми, по его мнению, будущее. Согласно же прогнозам некоторых независимых экспертов, виниловые пластинки скорее всего переживут компакт-диски, так как считаются эталоном звучания и активно коллекционируются многими меломанами и аудиофилами во всём мире. Что же касается Linn и их решения прекратить выпуск CD-плееров, то это всего лишь ещё один забитый гвоздь в крышку гроба компакт-диска, как носителя. А может и не только CD?
