Как несложно догадаться, с его помощью владелец камеры может оперативно «слить» отснятый материал на DVD-болванку без помощи компьютера и в «походных» условиях.<br /><br />Подключение устройства к камере осуществляется при помощи интерфейса USB 2.0. Заявленные производителем характеристики вполне обычны для такого типа приводов. Максимальная скорость записи на болванки DVD±R и DVD+RW составляет 8Х. Диски DVD-RW можно «прожигать» на скорости 6Х, а двухслойные диски обоих форматов – на 4Х. Кроме того, новинка совместима с DVD-RAM. Запись на диски этого формата производится на скорости 3Х. Габариты устройства: 139Х138,8Х18 мм, его масса 395 грамм.<br /><br />Продажи новинки на территории Японии начнутся 25 декабря этого года. Рекомендованная розничная цена на VW-BN2 составит 250 000 йен, что эквивалентно примерно 186 евро. О возможности и сроках поставки в другие регионы, увы, ничего не сообщается.
