На этот раз отличилась компания Memorex, анонсировав две новинки, которые обновили модельный ряд карманных камкодеров этой фирмы. Первая новинка — MyVideo — не представляет для нас особого интереса, так как позволяет снимать видео лишь в стандартном разрешении, в то время как видеокамера MyVideo HD, как следует из названия модели, поддерживает видео высокого разрешения.<br /><br />Камера MyVideo HD позволяет снимать видео в формате 720p и оснащена стандартным полноразмерным выходом HDMI, что позволит подключать её к телевизору при помощи самых обычных кабелей, а не специфических «межблочников» или адаптеров. Съёмка фотографий также возможна. Камкодер позволяет делать снимки с разрешением в 5 мегапикселей. В качестве носителя информации в устройстве используется встроенная флеш-память объёмом 4 гигабайта. Время работы от штатного аккумулятора — 2,5 часа. Формат записи видео, как не сложно догадаться по небольшому объёму памяти, — MPEG-4. Что примечательно, результат съёмки можно загружать на YouTube даже без предварительной конвертации.<br /><br />Камера уже поступила в продажу в США. Её розничная цена составляет в среднем 130 американских долларов.
