В этот раз отличился корейский индустриальный гигант Samsung Electronics, представив публике 55-дюймовый ЖК-телевизор с разрешением 1920х1080 (Full HD 1080p) и поддержкой развёртки 240 герц.<br /><br />Что примечательно, для создания 3D-эффекта используются очки, работающие по технологии оптических затворов, которая знакома многим энтузиастам компьютерных игр. Принцип её работы прост. В каждом из окуляров применяются жидкие кристаллы, на подобии тех, что используются многие годы в электронных наручных часах. Как известно, при поляризации они становятся непрозрачными, закрывая попеременно то один, то другой глаз, синхронизируя с устройством отображения смену изображений для каждого из них. Происходит это с такой скоростью, что наш мозг воспринимает трёхмерное изображение не как смену кадров для каждого из глаз, а как одно целое.<br /><br />Но есть у этой технологии одна особенность — для её реализации требуется поддержка реальной (!) развёртки минимум в 120 герц (а лучше больше!), и соответствующая скорость отклика пикселей. Ведь разделение изображения надвое делает текущую развёртку вдвое меньше, а большая скорость смены кадров на экране необходима для того, чтобы исключить наложение картинок для разных глаз друг на друга...<br /><br />Как известно, у ЖК-технологии есть серьёзные проблемы с реальной, а не маркетинговой скоростью отклика пикселей. Даже при значительном «разгоне» матрицы. Именно поэтому тот же Panasonic продвигает свою 3D-технологию, основанную, кстати, на том же принципе, исключительно в паре с плазменными панелями, которые не имеют подобных проблем.<br /><br />Как умудрилась компания Samsung «прикрутить» технологию активных затворов к ЖК — остаётся для нас секретом. Во всяком случае, до тех пор, пока не удастся посмотреть на это чудо своими глазами...
