На днях компания Sharp представила четыре новых ЖК-телевизора, предназначенных для продажи исключительно на территории Японии. Новинки с диагональю экрана 40, 46, 52 и 60 дюймов относятся к серии LX модельного ряда LED AQUOS и поступят в розничную продажу после 10 ноября 2009 года — накануне 10-летнего юбилея появления первых телевизоров AQUOS. Все телевизоры серии LX будут использовать светодиодную LED-подсветку и новое поколение ЖК-панелей собственного производства. По мнению представителей Sharp, новинки обладают непревзойденным качеством изображения и сногсшибательным функционалом.

При производстве ЖК-панелей для новых телевизоров Sharp использовалась передовая фирменная технология UV2A, благодаря которой удалось добиться яркого и чистого белого цвета и глубокого чёрного. Вкупе с применением светодиодной подсветки, демонстрирующей эталонную цветовую температуру, новинки Sharp ещё и на треть менее «прожорливы» своих предшественников, с точки зрения потребления электроэнергии.

Среди дополнительных возможностей новых телевизоров стоит отметить систему улучшения отображения движений High-Picture-Quality Master Engine, куда входят функции Clear Double Speed, Active Conditioner и Smooth Image Quality. Кроме того, внимания заслуживает поддержка шины управления AQUOS Familink II. Встроенные АС для каждой новинки включают в себя 6 СЧ/ВЧ-динамиков и один НЧ-драйвер.
