По сути, это обновлённая версия устройства, продававшегося VholdR ранее. Усовершенствования коснулись, в первую очередь, физического разрешения матрицы — 1080p у новинки против 720p у её старшей «сестры». Кроме того, новый ContourHD имеет больше режимов съёмки, поддерживает размерность 4:3, стандарт 960p и позволяет снимать при 60 кадрах в секунду при разрешении 720p. Стоит отметить также наличие широкоугольной оптики и двойной лазерной системы автофокусировки.<br /><br />Владелец ContourHD сможет ещё до начала съёмки самостоятельно отрегулировать такие параметры, как экспозиция, контрастность и чувствительность микрофона. В свою очередь, съёмная аккумуляторная батарея позволит камере снимать около трёх часов на одной зарядке.<br /><br />Появление новинки в продаже ожидается ближе к Рождеству. Рекомендованная стоимость камеры составит $330 в США.
