На этот раз известный японский производитель аудио- и видеотехники отличился, представив на суд посетителей выставки, Blu-Ray плеер с дополнительной поддержкой интернет-сервисов BDP-N460. Безусловно, общий для всех плееров функционал BD-Live можно также отнести к онлайн-службам, но BDP-N460 пошёл немного дальше. Помимо BD-Live, он способен воспроизводить видео с таких сайтов, как Netflix и YouTube, а также проигрывать музыку с ресурсов типа Slacker. В последнем случае, независимо от того, подключён ли плеер к телевизору.<br /><br />Судя по информации, полученной от сотрудников компании, BDP-N460 предназначен для работы в паре с беспроводным мостом Linksys WET610N и оптимизирован для передачи видео по беспроводной сети. Как и большинство Blu-Ray проигрывателей Sonу последнего поколения, BDP-N460 оснащён портом HDMI 1.3 и 7.1-канальным декодером пространственного звучания Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS-HD и PCM. Также возможно подключение внешних источников с интерфейсом USB и, как следствие, просмотр с них видеофрагментов и фотографий.<br /><br />Новинка появится в американской рознице в октябре этого года по рекомендованной цене в $250.
