И для этого выделит весьма солидную сумму — 28 миллиардов юаней, что составляет 4 миллиарда долларов США. Эти инвестиции получит производственная компания BOE Technology Group Co., имеющая патент на производство ЖК-дисплеев восьмого поколения (G8). Строительство завода, на котором будут производиться преимущественно 40-дюймовые ЖК-телевизоры, планируется завершить в 2011 году.<br /><br />«Наша продукция будет ориентирована на внутренний рынок. Она будет удовлетворять спрос на недорогие телевизоры с большой диагональю экрана» — сказал председатель BOE Вон Доншен на церемонии, посвящённой началу строительства завода. Напомним, что в настоящее время ЖК-панели больших диагоналей исключительно импортируются в Китай из-за границы, так как на территории страны пока ещё нет соответствующих мощностей и технологической базы для собственного производства.<br /><br />Главный политический советник правительства Китая Цзя Цинлинь, присутствовавший на этой церемонии заметил, что строительство собственного завода по производству ЖК-телевизоров подстегнёт к росту и другие смежные отрасли, что самым благоприятным образом отразится на общей ситуации в экономике страны. Также он пожелал BOE удачи в создании собственного исключительно китайского, узнаваемого во всём мире, бренда.<br /><br />В будущем предполагается привлечение ещё 50 миллиардов юаней (или 7 миллиардов американских долларов) инвестиций в эту отрасль, что будет способствовать созданию 20000 новых рабочих мест.
