Как видно на фотографии выше, дизайн данного решения не был принесён в жертву функциональности. Как и вся современная техника этого известного производителя, Wireless HDTV Link отличает стильное оформление и качественный конструктив.<br /><br />В комплект поставки, как несложно догадаться, входит один передатчик и один приёмник радиосигнала. Ширина образуемого трансмиттером канала позволяет передавать на расстояние до 20 метров видеопоток с разрешением 1080p при 30 кадрах в секунду. На терминальной панели можно найти два порта HDMI и два комплекта разъёмов для компонентного видеосигнала, которых должно быть достаточно для большинства поклонников просмотра видео высокого разрешения дома.<br /><br />При этом поклонники компьютерных игр могут быть не до конца удовлетворены пропускной способностью Wireless HDTV Link. Это обусловлено тем, что в отличие от просмотра фильмов в режиме 24p, где развёртка строго ограничена стандартом, игры могут выдавать заметно больший fps, вплоть до 50-60 кадров в секунду, с которыми новинка Philips едва ли сможет справиться. Возможно, конечно, что электронная начинка Wireless HDTV Link будет преобразовывать входящий сигнал, приводя его в соответствие с реальной пропускной способностью радиоканала. Но при этом, однозначно, пострадает «геймплей», да и движения, скорее всего, будут отображаться прерывисто.<br /><br />Предположительно, стоимость беспроводного комплекта Wireless HDTV Link составит 600 евро или 850 долларов США. О сроках поступления в продажу пока не сообщается.
