Теперь счастливые обладатели новых моделей Mac, оснащенных DisplayPort и OS X Snow Leopard 10.6, смогут воспользоваться всеми прелестями современного HD-телевидения с помощью адаптера связи DisplayPort — HDMI. Это означает, что у пользователей Mac появилась возможность просмотра трех наиболее распространенных форматов HDTV: 720p, 1080i, и 1080p. Попытки воспроизведения этих форматов с помощью адаптера DVI -> VGA ранее результатов не давали.
