Таким образом, можно предположить, что в России новинки появятся с запозданием в два или три месяца.<br /><br />По предварительным данным, ЖК-телевизоры серии 9000 будут примечательны наличием точечной светодиодной подсветки и ультра-тонким исполнением. Более подробной информации не сообщается.<br /><br />Кроме того, стали известны подробности, относительно телевизоров серии 8500 с боковой LED-подсветкой. В модельном ряду будут представлены два устройства — с диагональю 46 и 55 дюймов. Они будут оснащены ЖК-матрицами со временем отклика в две миллисекунды, поддерживать технологию 240 Гц и обладать характеристикой динамического контраста 7000000:1. Рекомендованные розничные цены новинок на рынке США составят $3599,99 и $4499,99 cоответственно.<br /><br />Примечателен и тот факт, что в планах Samsung на 2009 год — реализовать более двух миллионов своих ЖК-телевизоров во всём мире. По неподтверждённой информации из источников внутри компании, в первом полугодии было продано всего четыреста тысяч экземпляров. Также было заявлено о «захвате» 94,8% американского рынка ЖК-телевизоров со светодиодной подсветкой.
