В новых телевизорах линейки 8500 использованы новые светодиодные (LED) лампы подсветки, работающие в «чистом» белом спектре. За счет возможности локального затемнения определенных областей экрана, предоставляемой данной технологией подсветки, вкупе с технологичными изысками, инженерам компании удалось добиться впечатляющего показателя динамического отношения контраста в 7000000:1 (Семь миллионов к одному!!!) против пяти миллионов, заявленных для серии 8000. Новые ЖК-панели, которыми оснащены новинки, заметно ярче своих предшественников, что улучшает восприятие происходящего на экране, особенно, при просмотре фильмов в помещении с дневным освещением.<br /><br />Серия 8000 в каталоге Samsung самая «шустрая». При работе на частоте 240 герц, скорость отклика матрицы составляет всего 2 мс. Кроме того, среди особенностей новинок стоит отметить наличие фирменного сервиса Internet@TV, дающего доступ к интернет-ресурсам Flikr, YouTube, а теперь еще и Twitter.<br /><br />Телевизоры серии 8500 будут представлены двумя моделями с диагональю экрана 46 и 55 дюймов. Появление в продаже намечено на сентябрь, рекомендованная розничная цена новинок — $3600 и $4500.<br /><br /><br /><br />
