По итогам отчетного периода компания зафиксировала рекордные выручку с продаж и операционный доход. Причем оба показателя стали рекордными как в плане исключительно местных продаж, так и в плане глобальной деятельности. <br /><br />Выручка с глобальных продаж по сравнению с прошлым годом выросла на 13,8% и составила $11,23 млрд. Операционный доход увеличился до $878 млн. Выручка с продаж на местном рынке составила $6,6 млрд, операционный доход — $553 млн. Компании удалось достичь таких результатов благодаря высокому спросу на ЖК-телевизоры и мобильные телефоны.<br /><br />По итогам 2-го квартала 2009 г. компания продала 4,28 млн ЖК-телевизоров, на 45% больше по сравнению с аналогичным периодом прошлого года. Выручка подразделения Home Entertainment Company выросла на 19,3% до $3,49 млрд. Прибыль составила $174 млн. Что касается мобильных телефонов, то всего их было продано за отчетный период 29,8 млн штук. Это на 7,8% больше по сравнению с прошлым годом и на 32% больше по сравнению с 1-м кварталом текущего года. Выручка подразделения Mobile Communications Company выросла год к году на 25,8% до $3,98 млрд, из них $3,78 млрд принесли продажи мобильников. Это значение выросло за год на 30%. <br /><br />В 3-м квартале компания прогнозирует увеличение продаж на 10% год к году в связи с повышающимся спросом на ЖК-телевизоры, особенно дорогие модели, и мобильные телефоны. Прибыль компании, как ожидается, останется на уровне 3-го квартала прошлого года. <br /><br />
