Согласно первоначальным планам производителя, устройство должно было увидеть свет в июне текущего года. <br /><br />Модель, оснащенная 10-дюймовым поворотным сенсорным дисплеем с разрешением WSVGA и поддержкой технологии "мультитач", можно использовать и как обычный нетбук, и как планшетный компьютер. У компании ASUS уже имеется подобный продукт — Eee PC T91, но с меньшим, 8,9-дюймовым, дисплеем. <br /><br />Нетбук Eee PC T101, построенный на базе процессора Intel Atom Z520 с тактовой частотой 1,33 ГГц, несет на борту 1 или 2 Гб оперативной памяти и твердотельный (SSD) накопитель объемом 16 Гб. Примечательно, что работает устройство под управлением новой операционной системы Windows 7. Из коммуникационных возможностей новинки стоит отметить поддержку Wi-Fi (b/g/n) и Bluetooth, модуль сотовой связи 3G и GPS-приемник. <br /><br />Литий-ионная полимерная батарея обеспечивает до 5,4 часа работы нетбука в автономном режиме. Об ориентировочной стоимости устройства не сообщается. <br />
