Кабельный оператор Ziggo будет первым, кто начнёт их распространение.<br /><br />С началом показа "Тур де Франс, голландцы уверенно взяли курс на начало регулярных HD трансляций на своих трех национальных каналах. Ряд программ будут представлены в родном HD разрешении, остальные же программы будут масштабироваться до качества HD.<br /><br />Компания Ziggo является первым дистрибьютором для всех трех каналов в HD версии. Они будут доступны для всех 1 млн.118 тыс. цифровых домохозяйств Голландии без каких-либо дополнительных затрат. Ожидается, что и другие голландские кабельные операторы последуют примеру Ziggo. <br /><br />На данный момент, среди кабельных операторов в стране только UPC, Ziggo и CAIW могут предложить своим абонентам HD вещание, а также спутниковый провайдер DTH - Canal Digitaal Satelliet.
