Sky Digital официально приступил к испытанию 3D

Британская платформа Sky Digital официально приступила к собственному испытанию 3D технологии. Тесты будут проходить на канале Sky 3DTV, трансляция которого уже осуществляется со спутника Astra 2A (28.2Е) со следующими параметрами: 11856, V, FEC 29500, 3/4, DVB-S2 и кодирована в NDS. Провайдер на данный момент (в подготовительный период), работает над подбором контента для начала трансляций в 3D.
Для целей тестирования в 3D, Digital Sky уже использовал программы в 3D HD с теннисного турнира Большого Шлема - Роллан Гаррос, трансляция которых осуществлялась со спутника Intelsat 905 (24.5W) в незакодированном виде, но в стандарте MPEG 4:2:2. Кроме того, необходимо отметить, что без соответствующего оборудования для корректного приёма и обработки сигнала в 3D на экране обычного телевизора, зритель может увидеть только две одинаковые картинки расположенные рядом по горизонтали.
