К серверу MediaSmart могут быть подключены десктопы и ноутбуки с целью взаимодействия друг с другом или для резервного копирования информации. <br /><br />В MediaSmart Server LX-195 применен энергетически эффективный процессор Intel Atom 230 с тактовой частотой 1,6 ГГц (прежде НР использовала в домашних серверах чипы Intel Celeron и AMD Sempron). Объем оперативной памяти ограничен 1 Гб, жесткий диск вмещает до 640 Гб информации. <br /><br />На задней панели корпуса MediaSmart Server LX-195 имеются четыре порта USB и гнездо для подключения сетевого кабеля. Новинка имеет относительно скромные габариты — 10 см в ширину и 20 см в высоту. <br /><br />Приобрести домашний сервер можно будет по ориентировочной цене в 400 долларов. <br />
