Для сравнения, чистая прибыль компании в первом квартале 2008 года составила $1,58 млрд. <br /><br />Однако новый показатель следует признать шагом вперед по сравнению IV кварталом 2008 г, когда Samsung впервые с 2000 г., когда ввела квартальную отчетность, зафиксировала чистый убыток в размере $16,16 млн. <br /><br />Выручка компании за отчетный выросла на 8,5% и достигла $13,83 млрд против $12,74 млрд годом ранее. <br /><br />Причиной слабых показателей компании является глобальное падение спроса на продукцию отрасли и снижение цен в условиях мирового финансового кризиса, отмечается в официальном сообщении. <br />
