Данная платформа является частью масштабного перехода на формат HD телевизионных станций и сетей.<br />Платформа Broadcast Media Library/MediaClient от SeaChangе, которая включает в себя передающие серверы BML и программные кодеки MCL, позволяет телевещателю захватывать и включать в программу 60 каналов и захватывать и воспроизводить 80 каналов для коммерческого использования.<br /><br />Директор подразделения международного маркетинга продуктов для телевещания в SeaChangе Стивен Джауроу подчеркнул, что данная сделка является одной из крупнейших в мире в области внедрения серверов.<br /><br />Главным фактором при выборе оборудования для Macquire Southern Cross Media стала возможность воспроизведения имеющихся файлов Pinnacle MediaStream формата standard-definition. Только серверы от SeaChangе сейчас на рынке могут воспроизводить файлы Pinnacle standard-definition в формате HD.<br /><br />В разработке данного решения для управления различными форматами, используемыми серверами MediaStream, компания SeaChangе тесно сотрудничала с компанией Avid.
