Это первый ноутбук компании с процессором AMD Neo. Ранее модель появилась в продаже в Сингапуре. <br /><br />HP Pavilion DV2 обладает 12,1-дюймовым экраном с разрешением 1280 x 800 точек и построен на платформе AMD Yukon. Частота процессора AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 составляет 1,6 ГГц. Объем кэш-памяти L2 – 512 КБ. Эти два параметра аналогичны процессорам Atom от компании Intel. Чип основан на старой архитектуре Athlon 64 (K8) и не несет ничего нового. Он выполнен с применением 65-нм технологии и его максимальное энергопотребление составляет 15 Вт. Процессоры Intel Atom потребляют 2,5 Вт. Однако чип от AMD не только более прожорлив, но и обладает существенно более высокой производительностью. <br /><br />В компьютере используется графика ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3410 с 512 МБ выделенной памяти. Вес компьютера – 1,8 кг. Модель позиционируется как мультимедийный лэптоп и обладает HDMI для вывода изображения на телевизор. В комплекте предлагается внешний привод с поддержкой DVD. <br /><br />Стоимость лэптопа c 4 ГБ оперативной памяти и жестким диском на 320 ГБ составляет $750.
