Появление нового сервиса, имеющего кодовое название Neon, ожидается в новых, еще не анонсированных ТВ-приемниках серии Bravia. <br /><br />"ТВ-гид предложит свои рекомендации сидящему у экрана зрителю после того как он ответит на несколько вопросов", - пояснил Ричард Бульвинкл, представитель компании-разработчика Macrovision. Новое программное обеспечение будет опираться на большую базу данных по видеоконтенту (которая уже используется такими компаниями как Nokia, Samsung, Sony) и предполагает выдачу рекомендаций не только по эфирным программам., но и по содержимому устройств, подключенных к ТВ. В будущем также планируется сделать возможным получение рекомендаций от других людей. Появление технологии Neon в телевизорах Sony ожидается еще до наступления Рождества-2009. <br />
