Модель способна снимать видео с непрерывным автофокусом с разрешением 1080p со скоростью 24 кадра в секунду, либо с разрешением 720p, но при 60 кадрах в секунду. Все видеоролики записываются в формате AVCHD (MPEG-4/H.264). Имеется встроенная технология Dolby Digital и защита от помех при снятии стереозвука, сообщает Reg Hardware. <br /><br />Разрешение сенсора составляет 12,1 МП, максимальная чувствительность ISO – 3200. Фотографии и видео могут записываться на емкие карты памяти стандарта SDHC. Модель создана на базе формата Micro Four Thirds, который, среди прочего, подразумевает отсутствие зеркала, призмы и оптического видоискателя. Благодаря отсутствию этих компонентов габариты камеры удалось уменьшить до 124 x 89 x 45 мм, а вес – до 385 г. При этом сохранилась возможность менять объектив, как в зеркальных устройствах. Модель обладает 3-дюймовым дисплеем и "башмаком" для крепления вспышки. <br /><br />Это вторая модель Panasonic на новом стандарте. В сентябре была представлена Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1. Сам формат был анонсирован летом прошлого года. Его разработала Panasonic совместно с Olympus. Последняя планирует выпустить первую подобную камеру летом этого года. <br /><br />Стоимость и дата начала продаж Lumix DMC-GH1 не сообщаются. <br />
