Скорость чтения информации достигает 250 Мб/с, запись данных может осуществляться на скорости до 70 Мб/с. Энергопотребление составляет 0,15 Вт в рабочем режиме и 0,06 Вт в режиме простоя; средняя наработка на отказ достигает 1,2 миллиона часов. <br /><br />Твердотельные диски X25-M предназначены для использования в ноутбуках и десктопах. В следующем месяце Intel планирует начать поставки 1,8-дюймовых накопителей SSD емкостью 160 Гб, ориентированных на портативные компьютеры небольшого формфактора. <br /><br />Напомним, что буквально на днях корпорация Toshiba сообщила о создании 2,5-дюймового твердотельного диска рекордной на сегодня емкости — 512 Гб. Устройство обеспечивает скорость последовательного чтения данных до 240 Мб/с и скорость последовательной записи до 200 Мб/с. <br /><br />О стоимости новых твердотельных дисков Intel пока не сообщается
