Возможно, вы слышали о том, что игра будет использовать управление SIXAXIS, в основном, для взаимодействия с окружающей средой или для выбора вариантов в диалогах. Кейдж расширил этот список, отметив, что SIXAXIS также будет использоваться в «интенсивных действиях, требующих от игрока нанести удар, пинок или толчок». Как бы там ни было, основные кнопки будут использоваться только в, так называемых, Quick Time Events сценах(интерактивные сцены), и более нигде.<br /><br />Наверняка, многие уже пришли к верному заключению, что довольно таки большой и эмоционально завораживающий проект Heavy Rain, будет определенно одиночной игрой, без какого-либо мультиплеера. Кейдж подтвердил это, но снова упомянул о неких формах дополнительных материалов, которые, возможно, уже в работе: «Игра будет поддерживать систему трофеев(Trophy system) и предложит определенного рода онлайн экстра-контент, но Heavy Rain будет одиночной игрой».<br />
