Таким образом, самая толстая часть экрана теперь стала одной из самых его тонких частей, даже тоньше, чем жидкокристаллическая панель. Это ключ к реализации сверхтонкой конструкции. <br /><br />Концептуальная разработка Philips также отличается малым весом - за счет того, что экран весит всего 5 кг, разработчикам удалось снизить вес 42-дюймового ЖК-телевизора примерно на 10 кг по сравнению с существующими аналогами. <br /><br />Сверхтонкая модель Essence базируется на масштабных разработках в области оптических конструкций и технологий подсветки. Благодаря использованию запатентованной Philips структуры сцепления световодов и тонкой настройке разводящего шаблона свет равномерно распределяется по всей поверхности экрана. <br /><br />Телевизор оснащен уже зарекомендовавшими себя технологиями Philips, такими как 100Hz Clear LCD (обеспечивает время отклика матрицы 2 мс), Perfect Natural Motion (плавный просмотр сцен движения, снятых с частотой 24 кадра/сек), Perfect Pixel HD Engine. <br /><br />Телевизор появится в продаже в ноябре по рекомендованной розничной цене 99990 руб. <br />
