Компания Nvidia выпустила два новых встроенных графических процессора для настольных систем – GeForce 9300 и 9400, рассчитанных на платформу Intel. Новые чипы обеспечивают производительность, сопоставимую с дискретными адаптерами и необходимую для большинства начинающих пользователей, сообщают в компании.

Оба процессора включают по 16 вычислительных ядер и поддерживают язык программирования CUDA, который позволяет задействовать процессоры для математических вычислений, не связанных с графикой.

GeForce 9300 и 9400 поддерживают технологию PureVideo HD, занимающуюся обработкой сигнала высокой четкости, полностью снимая эту задачу с центрального процессора, библиотеки Microsoft DirectX 10, технологию SLI, передачу несжатого звукового сигнала LPMC 7.1, интерфейсы DVI-D и HDMI.

Продажи материнских плат с интегрированными GeForce 9300 и 9400 начнут в этом месяце XFX, Asustek, ECS, Foxconn и другие вендоры.
