После подписания данного соглашения компании намерены сосредоточить усилия на производстве поскопанельных телевизоров на основе плазменных и ЖК-панелей, что будет способствовать повышению конкурентоспособности их продукции на международном рынке. <br /><br />В рамках сотрудничества планируется, что Matsushita начнет поставки плазменных панелей для производства телевизоров под маркой Hitachi, которые должны появиться на рынке уже в марте 2010 года. Также в ходе совместной работы особое внимание будет уделено производству высокотехнологичных моделей, отвечающих всем современным тенденциям для плазменных телевизоров, включая сокращение толщины и массы устройств, применение энергосберегающих технологий. <br /><br />Что касается направления ЖК-телевизоров, компании и далее намерены совместно работать на данном рынке. В настоящее время Hitachi и Matsushita обсуждают возможность сборки плокопанельных ЖК-телевизоров за рубежом. Более того, компании намерены сотрудничать в области разработок более тонких, легких, ЖК-телевизоров с улучшенным качеством изображения и сниженным уровнем энергопотребления. <br /><br />Учитывая возрастающий спрос на плоскопанельные телевизоры, в особенности на плазменные модели, решение о расширении сотрудничества является взаимовыгодным для обеих компаний. К совместной работе Hitachi и Matsushita намерены приступить в октябре 2008 года. <br />
