Они оснащены дисплеем с нестандартной для мобильных ПК диагональю 18,4 дюйма формата 16:9 с поддержкой разрешения 1080p и в стандартной комплектации поставляются с приводом формата Blu-ray. Ноутбуки могут быть оснащены пишущим Blu-ray-приводом, но это зависит от комплектации. Для тех, кто предпочитает смотреть фильмы на большом экране, предусмотрен HDMI-выход. Ноутбуки Sony Vaio AW хорошо подходят не только для развлечений, но и для дизайнеров и фотографов, так как их экран совместим с цветовым профилем Adobe RGB. <br /><br />В серии Vaio CS11 акцент сделан на дизайне. Эти ноутбуки рассчитаны на творческих личностей, желающих подчеркнуть свою индивидуальность. Компьютеры предлагаются в ярких цветовых решениях и поставляются со специализированным программным обеспечением, при помощи которого пользователь может организовывать цифровую музыку, разбивая ее на группы в зависимости от настроения. Также имеется ПО для создания фильмов со спецэффектами и звуковым оформлением. Настольные блоки Vaio RT с 25,5-дюймовым дисплеем разрешением 1920x1200 пикселей оборудуются четырехъядерным процессором Intel Core 2 Quad, видеокартой Nvidia GeForce 9600M с памятью 512 МБ, двумя жесткими дисками по 500 ГБ и пишущим Blu-ray-приводом. Имеется встроенная система динамиков Dolby Home Theatre. Модели серии LV с длиной диагонали экрана 24 дюйма также имеют разрешение 1920x1200 пикселей.
