В состав пакета войдут пять каналов. На сегодняшний день это Eurosport HD, National Geographic HD, HD Life, Кинопоказ HD – канал зарубежных кинофильмов производства компании "Первый ТВЧ". Ведутся переговоры о расширении пакета. <br /><br />"Учитывая, что 99% современного контента в сетях закодировано в стандартном разрешении, мало оправдано было и приобретение современных плоско-панельных телевизоров с маркировкой HD-Ready и Full HD. Теперь бескомпромиссное качество телевидения высокой четкости будет доступно большему числу телезрителей: в ближайшие два года мы планируем подключить порядка 200 тыс. абонентов", - говорит генеральный директор проекта "Платформа HD" Константин Яшин. <br /><br />Вещание ведется со спутника Eurobird 9, 9 градусов в.д., а также распространяется в российских кабельных сетях. Константин Яшин отмечает, что "Платформа HD ориентируется в основном на малых и средних кабельных операторов с числом абонентов до 150-200 тыс. Ведь если крупные операторы сами в состоянии формировать пакетные предложения HDTV каналов, то малые и средние при решении задачи включения HD каналов в свои сети столкнутся с целым рядом трудностей, прежде всего, финансовых. Затраты же по включению "Платформа HD" в свои сети минимальны, и сводятся, фактически, к закупке трансмодулятора. А конкурентоспособность оператора кабельных сетей при этом повышается в десятки раз".
