Philips отказывается от компьютерных мониторов

Голландская компания Philips намерена передать свое подразделение по выпуску мониторов, IT Displays, крупнейшему в мире производителю этого вида товаров, TPV Technology Limited, передает AFP.

Соглашение об условиях использования торговой марки Philips уже заключено. TPV сможет использовать бренд Philips на мониторах, а компания в обмен будет получать часть выручки. В 2007 году IT Displays продали мониторов на 600 миллионов евро.

Кроме того, TPV возьмет на себя поиск поставщиков, снабжение, дистрибуцию, маркетинг и продажу всей продукции IT Dispays.

Согласно официальному заявлению Philips, благодаря соглашению компания сможет сменить позиционирование на рынке цифровых дисплеев и разобраться с телевизионным бизнесом, который в последнее время показывает недостаточную эффективность. Чистая прибыль Philips в первом квартале 2008 года упала на 75 процентов до 219 миллионов евро.
