Samsung отдает заказы на производство ЖК ТВ тайваньским компаниям

По информации от источников рынка, компания Samsung Electronics впервые отдала заказы на производство своих LCD TV тайваньским компаниям. Это было сделано с целью повышения конкурентоспособности, а также доли на мировом рынке в перспективе.

Компании TPV Technology и Tatung получили заказы на производство 32-дюймовых LCD TV, дизайн которых все еще находится в стадии разработки.

Начало поставок запланировано на третий квартал этого года. Samsung, которая раньше самостоятельно производила свои LCD TV, пыталась найти OEM-партнеров в Тайвани еще 2 года назад, но тогда ни одной сделки так и не было заключено. Ее основной конкурент, компания Sony, уже использовала практику размещения заказов на производство LCD телевизоров среди тайваньских OEM. Недавно Sony начала кампанию по продвижению своих 32- и 40-дюймовых LCD телевизоров в Северной Америке. Имеенно на этом рынке с ней и намерена конкурировать Samsung.
